We had a great stay at winhall brook campground. We had a site with a shelter which was great and a first time for me (we didnt end up using out tents).
The best campground in the whole northeast. My family is now on it's 3rd generation of Winhall campers as of this year!
The amenities were nice and well maintained but shower space was limited (there were only two, on male and one female, in the nearby bathroom). I could see this being a problem during busy times.
We had a wonderful time trying our new rpod here at Winhall Brook. Friendly staff, easy check-in. Very clean. Friendly campers. Great for adults and kids. Hiking, fishing, vollyball, basketball, playground, swimming, open field area near the electric and water hook-up area. Quiet and beautiful views.
Decent place to camp overall. But the site I had was not level as other campgrounds I've been to.
Haven't been there in a long time but a very nice place
We went in early september so it was fairly quiet. Privacy may be a problem during the busier times of the year as some sites were close to others. This is an issue with all most campgrounds though so i wouldn't worry about it.
