Best part of the meal was the spicy grilled catfish! Our server was awkward and didn't know the menu. She was confused about the salad, gave husband the wrong dressing, my plate came with 2 sides but she told me it was three (upcharge). Anyway...I grew up on Cracker Barrel food when I lived in the south and it was just as I remembered. Just wish my server hadn't made our experience so weird. Lol!
Fun place. Food is good. I think the portions have gotten a little smaller than when I first started going there but there is plenty of food. The key for me is the waitress/waiter. I have a favorite. One waitress told they don't offer biscuit at the table while you wait anymore due to corporate policy. Luckily my favorite waitress still offers and it definitely makes a difference to me. It's a few cents worth of flour but a huge asset in perceived value for me. My waitress makes sure I have fresh hot coffee, my food is hot and cooked correctly. She's great! She keeps me coming back.
Horrible wait times again. Why do you say sorry about the wait would you like biscuits while you continue to wait after 30minutes then you food arrives right after?
Nice atmosphere, good food and reasonable prices.
Their service (hostess & waitress) is excellent. I would skip the chicken dumplings, as they reminded me of cafeteria or hospital food. But I have had other meals in the past that were fine.
